Flat Bottom Silo

Lumix Engineering Private Limited manufactures a wide range of grain storage flat bottom silos from 300 MT up to 15,000 MT in a single bin according to the latest available globally approved standards. The design of BEN & GAWS dry bulk storage silos is made according to the loads on silo bins derived from American standard ANSI- ASAE EP 433:88 REV 2006 or German standard DIN 1055 1987 , wind load calculation (standard for 180 kmph and maximum up to 250 kmph) follows German standard DIN 1055-4:2005-03,snow& ice load calculation follows German standard DIN 1055-5: 2005-07. All the silos are designed according to respective seismic zone according to uniform building code and applicable snow load depending on installation site. It uses UNI EN 10346: 2009 S350 GD+Z grade ultra-high tensile and high yield steel with fine molecular structure and controlled internal purity. It combines outstanding mechanical properties like fatigue resistance, toughness and formability along with abrasion resistance.

Hopper Bottom Silo

Hopper bottom silos are conical shape steel structure to provide storage, The design of hopper bottom silos ensures that the stored grain is kept in good condition, as it is protected from moisture, pests, and Mold. The conical shape of the bottom of the silo allows for the grain to be easily unloaded, without the need for manual intervention. We recommend to prefer the Hopper bottom silo for capacity range 10 MT to 500 MT, While Hopper bottom silos can be manufactured up 1000 MT. This is totally made up with Zincalume/GI sheets, tightened with high strength Nut Bolts to provide excellent storage. Hopper Bottom Silos can provide temporary we grain storage as part of a grain drying plant and other buffer bin applications in plant. Storage of free-flowing granulated products, wood pellets and feed pellets in relevant industrial plants.
